AquaNet's first project is the Rosehill Recycled Water Scheme suppling up to 20 million litres per day of high quality recycled water to customers in the Rosehill, Parramatta, Smithfield, Wetherill Park and Fairfield areas.
AquaNet is part of the Jemena group of companies and was born out of Jemena's gas network ownership and management experience. AquaNet utilised Jemena's network of isolated gas mains to provide cost effective water distribution networks in built up areas and has access to Jemena's substantial pipeline construction experience and skills.

AquaNet was issued with Retail Supplier Licence 10_01R by the NSW Government Water Minister in March 2010. This licence provides for supply of customers with recycled water from the Rosehill Recycled Water Scheme and is issued under the NSW Government Water Industry Competition Act 2006.
